Of course we are a bit biased but there is so much to see and experience in this part of Scotland. That is why we are passionate about sharing authentic experiences with our guests.
Jacqueline van den Akker – Owner & Head Guide
Grampian Escapes and Tours was founded by Jacqueline in 2017. Following a move to Aberdeen with her work in Energy, she spent a lot of time exploring Aberdeenshire at the weekends with her “Sunday Adventures”.
Sunday’s was a day to do something different and Jacqueline would make a packed lunch, get a map and drive to explore. Not knowing what was out there was part of the fun! It started with following the brown tourist signs and now, many years later, she is creating tours taking visitors to some of the most loved locations as well as off the beaten path hide aways. Jacqueline loves nature, heritage and sharing a good story with visitors.
